It’s hot and disgusting. Yes, we know, all you want to do is strip off your clothes and run naked through sprinklers. Unfortunately, society has deemed this unnatural, so you have to make do with wearing as little as possible. Just don’t go overboard and look like a skank!

I’m a total girlie-girl. Which means I love pink, anything sparkly and sequiny, and of course, I am OBSESSED with flowers.

Look familiar? They're all over campus!

Blooms inspire me. Which means I want to resemble one as much as possible, especially if they smell delicious and make people stop and stare in their wake. You should strive to do the same! Floral prints and shapes are everywhere, and paired with a fresh fragrance, you’ll be a walking flower in no time. Before you know it, people will be stopping to stare and smell. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Is it spring or is it summer? Or is it winter again? In Boston, it’s impossible to know, especially when you live right on the Charles River. Gusts of cold wind can turn any warm sun-dress day into a Marylin Monroe-esque disaster. Here are some tips to stay smart when you’re not sure of the weather.

1) Cardigans are your friend.

They go on top of anything, from jeans and a tshirt to a frilly dress, and can cover you up while keeping you looking stylish. A nice break from bulky down parkas.

2) Stirrup leggings work in all climates.

A more updated take on the footless tights, stirrup leggings are light enough to enjoy in warm weather without sweating profusely but also provide surprisingly decent coverage when it comes to a gusty day.

3) Warm up other ways

When the weather really manages to trick you, and you are caught off guard with nothing more than a pair of jean shorts and a camisole, head to the nearest Starbucks. A hot tea will do the trick in no time.
